Halloween Treats--made by my crafty neighbor
I am so lucky to live next to a fellow foodie. Not only does she love food and tells me good places to get good food, but she makes good food also. And to top it off I am the recipient of some of her extra goodies! Check out these adorable Halloween apple bites that she made. She took a melon baller and made little apple balls. She said that she tried to dip that directly into caramel but it wouldn't stick so she went with chocolate and butterscotch. It might be hard to see, but she then dipped them in cinnamon or nuts or crushed oreos or Halloween sprinkles. They were so yummy!
She also brought over this cookie. I love vintage holiday cards so when I saw this vintage Halloween girl I just had to take a picture of her also (before I ate it). My neighbor got these papers online--not sure where, though. Anyway, she said that they are like rice paper and are totally edible. Adorable!

Holiday treats are so yummy! Marty, I hope you are pulling out your Cleopatra costume this year! Happy Halloween.
That's funny that you said that b/c a ward friend was just trying to think of a costume for her daughter. I suggested an Egyptian princess! She's borrowing my gold fabric.
Happy Halloween to you guys!
