I love the fall!

Oh, how I love this season. This is one of the things that I missed the most when we were living in the south. Last year I was so desperate for fall colors and weather that I got on a plane and flew to the most fall-y place I could think of--New England. I had a wonderful weekend driving through Mass, Vermont, and Connecticut. (Of course, seeing my bro- and sister-in-law was a fantastic bonus!)

This year I just look out my window and my heart sings. The trees are golden and the mountains are orange and red. The trees on the mountains look just like orange velvet. It's incredible!

And to top it off, who doesn't love fall clothes--cute light jackets, jeans, and sweaters. I could just live in perpetual fall. Where in the world would that be?

We have loved fall too. Unfortunatley, we all know what comes next... I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for a little while that global warming will take a temporary effect and make fall last a little longer. hope things are going well for you!

We are so glad to see Fall again, too! And I agree with you on Fall clothes, they are so cute, and something that you rarely need in Austin.

Hmm, how nice to live so close to such a lovely view. Let's just see how long we will indeed enjoy the fall this year. Hopefully, for your kids' sake, at least until after Halloween this year.

ahhh, yes. I firmly believe that each season should be alloted a full 3 months out of the calendar year. It's only fair. Mother Nature doesn't seem to agree.

Is that the view from your house?! I love that picture and I, too, agree about the fall. I'm glad you get to enjoy it....the leaves are still green here in Dallas.

It's not the view from my house, but it's about a mile away. It's right next to the MTC.

Oh how I agree! Utah & Michigan have beautiful Falls. Cranbrook was amazing last week!

When we lived in Kentucky there weren't very many things that you could say were good about it, but Fall, that was it. Fall in Kentucky was gorgeous and it lasted a long time! Whenever I think of fall I think of the three years we lived in Louisville.

Maybe Mom and Dad brainwashed us about fall by taking us to the Cider Mill--I just love the fall too!

How I miss Utah in the fall! It was 82 degrees here yesterday (loving it) but I definitely am missing all the vibrant colors and beautiful mountains there during this time of year. We miss you here in Texas.
