I don't know if my friend Mark W. actually coined the phrase "blag" (brag/blog) or not, but it's a great word! Anyway, I'm going to do a little blagging here. Rick's website, Econosseur.com, was cited in one of the New York Times blogs on New Year's Eve day. Rick and another Economist started the blog and added a joke page to share funny economics jokes (cause there's not much funny about the economy!). Here's where the NYT cited his blog.
I wish my blog were that cool. Good job, honey.

Way to go, Rick! I'm sure it won't be the last time he's cited, either!!
So I know high teachers go for tenure - do professors as well? Because I believe, even being only four months into teaching, with an accreditation like being recognized in the NYT - ya, that deserves the reward of tenure (or the equivalent).
Quite exciting. I'm going to conviniently be looking at the NYT in my office as people walk by so that I can point out "I know this person" to them.
Congrats!
Blagging is awesome! And Rick, way to go!
We loved your Christmas letter and glad there is even more economic humor out there

Yea for the Evans fam!!!!(Rick is worth blagging about! But remember, he could never do it without you as his backup!!)
Awesome! I didn't know he had a website. Can't wait to check it out.
That is pretty awesome. Rick- this accomplishment truly is blag-worthy.
Miss you guys!
