Christmas Fun

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! I think I've said this before, but one of the things I love about living where we do is that we get to see so many people who come in town to visit family. This year, we spent a lot of time with our siblings that had come from far away!

Christmas Eve we spent at our house with friends. It was such a nice night with fantastic food and good friends. I think everybody had a great time. Christmas afternoon we headed up to Rick's parents house and opened presents with Rick's family. Rick's brother, Romney, for sure won the award for the best wrapping job of the day.

We had everybody down to our house for a New Year's bash. Will hosted the family in a 2009 Evans Family Feud Trivia game. The kids had a great time and so did the adults. We also got to spend some extra time with Rick's brother and his wife our our little niece Eva.

On New Year's day my brother and his wife came to stay with us for a few days. My bro took Will skiing for the afternoon while the girls went to see The Princess and the Frog. Will and Chris had a great day together and the girls loved the movie--even though we had to sit in the second row cause the theater was so crowded!

And, well, we had to take this picture. Haylee is due just a few weeks after me and I know my mom wanted to see a picture of us together--so this one's for you, mom!
Yea, I am bursting out of that fleece. I have two or three more weeks left but am already dilated and effaced! Last night I was having some crazy contractions, so today I packed my bags and got totally ready for this baby to come--well not totally ready. I still want to scrub the grout in my kitchen, clean and organize our storage room, organize my pantry and every closet in my house!

You look great for being so close to D-day! I remember you were really dilated at the end of your last pregnancy. I remember picking up the boys from school and you had just come from the doctor and were dilated at a 3 or 4. I couldn't believe you were walking around Davis Elementary like that! I'm excited for you guys. You'll have to let me know how 4 kids is -we're trying to decide to take that leap!

Oh Marty you look so cute! Sounds like you'll be through it all before I am. Don't even remind me about grout right now or I might not sleep much this week. My nesting is getting really random like labeling everything - too bad I ran out of label ribbon

Good luck! I can't wait to hear news of the newest little Evans
