A Lovely UEA Break

Last weekend for UEA break (I actually don't know what it stands for but if you live here or ever have you know what it means--maybe Utah Education Association??) we packed our bags and headed off to the family cabin for a much needed vacation. The Aspens were golden and the temperature was perfect. We had a lovely weekend with our lovely loved ones!

We ventured over to Park City and went on this fun scarecrow trail made by local Park Citians. We found this one made by Shaun White himself ("Flying Tomato", snowboarder) who happens to be fellow CHDer (Congenital Heart Defect).

Rick and sweet baby Julia

Little Jules on her first swing. She loved it. Cute, cute.

Pretty, pretty family picture - love those fall colors! And cute Julia's face on the swing - so fun to get a little glimpse of her personality!

Wow! Julia is such a cutie! Glad you got a much needed vacation. We need one badly too, but with the deadline for tenure coming up soon, we don't see much of Brady- not even on the weekends. He sleeps here occasionally when he's not out of the country on an earthquake adventure, and when he's in town, he's in his office catching up from being gone until the next trip. Love the Shaun White scarecrow. I just saw him on Regis and Kelly the other day.

I love the family picture! I would like a UEA break too, whatever it is! The fall is always so crowded. It would be nice to take a break!
